Level Up is about refusing to settle. Keep what works. Fix what doesn’t. Ask
questions. Expect accountability. And keep raising the bar for our students and our
community.
Currently, about 1 in 4 school-age kids who live in RCS boundaries do not attend our
schools—meaning their families choose private school, another public school, homeschool, or
something else. This means that the district potentially loses over $40 million in revenue
annually.
We can improve the RCS district, bring students back, and reduce the enrollment decline trend.

I’m a Rochester parent who raised five children through our schools, and all five graduated from them. I run a business, I coach, and I’ve built a career helping people communicate and work together. I’m running for the Board of Education because I believe we can restore excellence in our district by getting back to the basics: reading, writing, and math, taught well and measured honestly. I’ll bring what I bring to my family and my work: listening first, and doing what’s right.

I’m a Rochester parent with two children in our schools. I’m also a former teacher and a financial planner with more than twenty years of helping families plan carefully and spend wisely. I know what a classroom needs and what a budget can do. I’d bring both to the Board of Education, and I’d keep listening to the parents, teachers, and neighbors who make this community strong.

I’m a wife, a mother, and an attorney, and I’ve spent my career working for children in child welfare and in education. I’ve prosecuted cases, led a public school board as its president, and served as superintendent of a public school district. I know how decisions get made and what they mean for students and staff. I’m committed to doing what’s best for Rochester Community Schools, its students and staff, and
the whole community.
